Avatars [03 Jul 2009|07:46pm]

Since this community isn't very active I thought  I'd help out by making a post.

I have some avatars I've made and thought I'd share them.  You can use them, and edit them if you like, no credit is necessary except for the one based on my painting of Miriya.

I can also take requests if you want a specific character :]

and I can also do animated avatars, I'll just need a link to the video footage via youtube and whatnot.

anyways, I hope y'all have a great 4th of July weekend!

They said it couldn't be done. We can't get Zak to get an lj, or do anything social, he's all tied up in his lil coccoon away from everyone else. Fear not citizens, I am come to dispense with the booze. And hell, one of these days I might even get off my ass and re-open the bar. That or kick Ferrari and Silver Tusk enough that they start behaving like good monkeys and open for me.

[nods to the faces he can pick out in the crowd]

heya mb, good to see ya buddy. Seloy, his purpleness was disappointed you weren't in attendance at Kuni-con.

Oi, well I'd really best get some sleep, I am supposed to work my actual job tonight and then I've got class in the morning. Peace out kids, and I'll try not to be a stranger.

[Zak vanishes in his trademark flash of blue light]

A new community! [29 Aug 2005|04:56pm]

You've watched the show, but have you ever taken a step back to appreciate the voices behind the characters? Cam Clarke is one such voice. Not only is he the voice of "Lancer/Maximillian Sterling " from Robotech but he is probably the voice of other characters you are familiar with and don't even know it! Please come join cam_clarke, and show your appreciation of this great voice actor and his work over the past 25 years.

Your maintainer,

Does one of you guys have Robotech Invasion for PS2? I just found it on eBay for 10 bucks.

Is it any good? So far I only read mediocre reviews about it...

Ok, this may just be another cruel robotech.com joke, but news is the site is going down tomorrow. The worst part is, it's also being rumored that this is part of a big scraping of robotech. Which means the new series might not get made. >_< Somebody hold me. :(

Want to buy a dvd boxset [17 Mar 2005|04:47pm]

micahmoses
and heavily considering getting a robotech boxset. Question is though, which series do I get? D: I've only seen the Macross saga, but I've always wanted to see the other two. Should I go with Macross (which I've seen plenty, but know I like), Southern Cross (which would be the next in the series, but doesn't seem as cool as New Generation), or New Generation (which seems cool, but I'd be skipping a series)? Which do you guys think I should get if I got one? Also, which do you think is the better one out of Southern Cross and New Generation? Thanks.

Ok [02 Feb 2005|11:06pm]

micahmoses
so since robotech.com doesn't like non family orientated material, and since this is my community (mwaha), I can finally ask this question. Which Robotech character would you rather be, umm, familiar with? I pick Lisa. Grr. :p

Hi all. I'm a relatively new member of Robotech.com, having signed up there only a few weeks ago under the name "Maxandra Valentine" (though I haven't been active anywhere yet), but I'm definitely NOT new to Robotech. I got hooked on the series when I watched it for the first time ten years ago as a child, and ever since then I hadn't been able to get my hands on the series again until last month, when I finally found and bought the WHOLE series on DVD (and went disastrously broke in the process). Now, I'm a 19 year-old college junior and have just gotten myself re-obsessed with Robotech.

Though I have seen the series and read up on the background info widely found on the net, I still haven't had the fortune to read the books (they're quite hard to find where I am, which is Thailand) or the comics. I wish I could read the books though because I'm dying to know all about the Sentinels adventures and eventually how the saga progresses and ends. Plus, I miss Rick and Lisa muchly and wish to see them again. Speaking of which, they happen to be among my favorite RT characters, with the rest being Max and Miriya Sterling, Lancer, Sera, and occasionally Dana Sterling and Sean Phillips. As for the sagas themselves, Macross is my fave, followed by Masters, then New Generation (least fave). At the moment, I'm interested in watching all three in their Japanese original versions, though I have no dough to support such an interest right now.

So yeah, guess that's it for an intro. Getting long and wouldn't wanna bore you all :)

Hey. I'm a huge fan of Robotech, and have been since I was a kid. I'm currently attending college in Tallahassee. I've seen the entire show, read the books, played most of the games (aside from the newest one, which I have doubts about. ), and started reading the comics.

So, yeah. My favorite character is Max Sterling. I've always just been able to relate to him the best.

I am possibly the largest Robotech fan...ever? [31 Dec 2004|12:16am]

kujakuseki01
Hey-o. Figure I'd introduce myself. My name is Lee and I'm 20, from Washington, and I've been a huge fan of Robotech ever since the first time I saw it, YEARS ago. I've seen all of the first two sagas, though I've never seen a single episode of Mospaeda.

I have, however, read every single one of the 20-something Robotech books. I've read them through about...oh...3 times each. They are by far my favorite book series. Even when I've read them the second and third times, they never bore me. I am always extremely sucked in, and can sometimes never stop. And I own a good portion of the Macross saga on DVD.

The anime is my second favorite anime series, and was my first up until about 5 months ago, when I discovered, and downloaded every episode of, a nice little anime series known as Full Metal Alchemist. :D

Anyhoo, I hope this community grows...it'd be way cool if it did.

favorite character-ness [28 Dec 2004|11:02pm]

seloy
Well, it's hard to pick just one character from ALL of Robotech to say is my favorite. But from the Macross Saga it's Lisa Hayes, b/c she's just the best EVER!~ From Masters I like Dana, Zor, Musica, and Bowie. and from the New Generation it's Rand. Rand is just the best! AND he's got redhair and i love red hair ;P

The Obligatory stuff, since I can't think of anything else. Who's your favorite character? Mine used to be Rick but now he just gets on my nerves. I think I like Roy the best now. Sorry that I can't do this in poll forum... I have no money to buy a paid account for this thing. :P

Hey there... [23 Dec 2004|10:03am]
reverend_pain
Hey folks. OK, the obligatory introduction:

The name's Bjoern, 28 years old. My name on RT.com is "Burn" which is also the name by which I'm known on most other forums, like Macrossworld. Let me say right away here, that I do not want to get involved in the old feud between RT.com and MW.com. Macross, Robotech, it's all good for me.
I also run The UN Spacy Database - www.unspacy.de, one of the rather known Macross and Robotech fansites with more than 1GB of legal downloads.

Right now I'm not an active poster on any Robotech or Macross forum because I'm quite busy writing my MA thesis. So, I'm looking forward to getting back into the Robotech business with this community.

See you around... b^_^d

this is a community for members of Robotech.com, and for fans of the show Robotech. When you join post a message about yourself and rather or not you're a member of Robotech.com. I'm not sure what this community is going to talk about yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something.
